Annual Award Recognizes Contributions to the HVTO Industry
NAPA, Calif. – Mar. 3, 2008 – Regulus, the largest
independent provider of paper and electronic bill presentment and remittance
processing solutions in the United States, today announced that its President
and COO, Kathy Hamburger, has been honored as a Woman of Distinction by OutputLinks.
OutputLinks, the primary
global research and information resource of the high volume transaction output
(HVTO) industry, has honored 49 women over the past seven years for innovation,
leadership and contributions to the industry.
“I am deeply honored to
receive this award,” said Hamburger. “It has been an amazing experience to be
at the forefront of so much change, growth and innovation in the HVTO industry.
It’s a real testament to my fabulous Regulus team that I’m able to accept this
award today.”
As President and COO,
Hamburger directly heads its internal management team responsible for over 1300
employees across the United
States. At Regulus, Hamburger also leads a national sales team which services
over 300 clients, comprised of leading companies in the financial services,
healthcare, telecom and utility industries.
“As the head of the one of
the leading HVTO companies, Kathy is an inspiring leader in our industry,” said
Julie Plata, COO of OutputLinks. “Her focus on innovation and advancing HVTO
makes her a worthy addition to the OutputLinks Women of Distinction honorees.”
Since assuming the role of
President and COO in 2001, Hamburger has led the charge to transform Regulus
from a paper print and remittance company into a cutting edge technology and
electronic services firm as well. While other companies were concerned about
electronic presentment and Web tools cannibalizing their HVTO work, Hamburger recognized
the power of these new technologies, which significantly enhance the overall
customer experience and streamline business processes. Hamburger kicked off a
company-wide initiative to weave these new technologies into Regulus’ print
production capabilities, resulting in Regulus’ new Transactions² suite of bill
printing and payment solutions, now in use by cutting-edge companies across the
country.
Today, her vision has become
reality as Regulus continues to introduce industry-leading electronic
presentment tools, Web-based print production and processing controls,
on-statement variable marketing tools and advanced archiving capabilities. And
rather than cannibalize its print work, Regulus has seen its HVTO volumes
continue to grow.
Hamburger is an active
member of The National Electronic Payments Association (NACHA) and the
Association for Financial Professionals (AFP). ABOUT
