Mr.
Wendroff’s session, “Transactional Documents and Promotions -- What Telcos Can
Learn from Direct Marketers,” will address the challenges of marketing on
billing statements and highlight proven direct marketing practices that can be
used to improve the transactional marketing process.
The session
will provide attendees insight into more effectively delivering highly
targeted, variable messaging on their billing statements, particularly related to
message testing and list and campaign management. Mr. Wendroff will provide attendees
with best practices around implementing an effective TransPromo program -- generally
defined as the integration of promotional content into transactional documents
-- across billing segments while guaranteeing maximum marketing impact without
interrupting the billing cycle.
InfoTrends,
a leading market research firm, predicts that transpromotional output will grow
91 percent from 2006 to 2010, to 21.7 billion pieces per year.
“Transactions
marketing, or TransPromo, is a powerful marketing tool because the message
resides right on the billing statement, increasing the chances that it will be
read by your customer,” said Mr. Wendroff. “Additionally, since you’re already
sending the bill, the incremental costs are minimal. However, it can be a
tricky process and requires a degree of expertise to do it right while not
interfering with cash collection.”
Regulus’ Transactions2 (T²) suite of products and
services provides companies in the finance, healthcare, insurance, telecom and
utility industries with much greater control and visibility over their billing
and remittance processes. The T² suite creates value at every stage of the
transaction lifecycle by increasing access to valuable data and combining
traditional paper with state-of-the-art electronic services. Approximately 40
percent of the FORTUNE 50 uses Regulus’ services. Regulus processes over two
billion transactions each year and nearly $32 per month of the recurring bills
in every American household.
TeleStrategies’
